ABOUT

Candice Bertalan is a multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles whose practice explores the interplay between form and texture. Her work, encompassing hand-formed concrete vessels, abstract paintings, and immersive plant installations, is rooted in an exploration of tactile experience and material presence. Through these diverse mediums, Bertalan invites viewers into an intimate dialogue with the physicality of her work and the spaces they inhabit.

THE STUDIO

Located in a former stamp factory warehouse in downtown Los Angeles, my studio is a bright, inspiring space. Surrounded by the dynamic landscape of DTLA, the textures and energy of the city inform and enliven my practice.

I welcome visitors to the studio by appointment and during open studio events.
